SHALOM from Rabbi Dr Ruth Fleischer!

Welcome to B'NAI MACCABIM

Thank you for visiting our website!

We invite you to browse through our pages and also to come along and visit us!

You can now view B'nai Maccabim's succah in the Events page!

B'nai Maccabim means "Children of the Maccabees," identifying us as people who stand for G-d in the face of anti-biblical religion and the return of paganism.  The Maccabees declared:  "Who is for the L-rd, stand with us!"

Our members come from a large variety of backgrounds and walks of life, and, although B'Nai Maccabim is not large, we are very much a mishpoucha (family) and you can be sure of a warm welcome.

We meet every Shabbat at 10:30 AM in Borehamwood. You will find us at Threeways Community Centre, Manor Way at Arundel Drive. We are on the 292 bus route from Edgware, or if you choose to drive, we have parking in front of the building.  Our services are open to all who want to join us to worship G-d.

We have services for all the High Holy Days and festivals throughout the Jewish calendar and a midweek Tefillah (prayer) and Yeshiva (study) group for members.  Please check our events page for details of these, including the venue as we often meet with other UBMJC synagogues for these special days.

In addition to our synagogue life, B'Nai Maccabim has a ministry arm known as 'YESHUA International,' through which we host annual conferences, support Messianic synagogues and ministries in Africa, Israel and Europe, and provide teaching materials and mentoring for Messianic Jews worldwide. You can visit the website of YESHUA International by clicking here

If you want to know more about B'Nai Maccabim and Messianic Judaism, or if you would like to know what it means to have a real relationship with Adonai through Messiah Yeshua, please e-mail me by clicking here

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our services in the near future!
